Everest Base Camp Trek (16 Days)

Mt. Everest Base Camp Trek has been a popular destination for trekkers since the very first expeditions to the Nepalese side of Everest in the 1953. A trek designed to get you real close-up to the base of Mt. Everest (The highest mountain on earth, mother goddess of the world), we have devised this two week trek to Everest Base Camp which runs directly to and from Lukla.

The Everest Region is located in the northeast of Nepal and protected by Sagarmatha National Park. The trek starts with 30 minutes flight from Kathmandu, the best mountain flight on planet. The second you reached at Namche Bazaar (entry gate of Everest region), with one extra day at Namche Bazaar we proceed to Tangboche it has biggest monastery in this region with beautiful paintings, you will see monks are chanting and praying, you will have great views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Towache, Mt. Lhotse and more. We then follow quite easy walk through birch and rhododendron forest unless we cross the suspension bridge in Imja Khola and slightly climb up to Pangboche then to Dingboche. After one more rest day we continue walking to Thukla and then to Lobuche. About 3 hours walk from Lobuche takes you to Gorakshep (5167m) which is highest point you will sleep on this trek. Next day with early wake up you will have chances to climb up to Kalapathar (5545m) which offer fantastic views of Everest and khumbu glacier. You will enjoy different feelings on your way back to Lukla with different shape of mountains.
